The works of the winners of the latest photo exhibition organized by the Anadolu agency are presented at Bilgi University
In Istanbul on Thursday, December 2, the third exhibition of works by the winners of the Istanbul Photo Awards-2021 international photo competition, organized by the Anadolu Agency (AA), will open.
The exposition on the territory of the University of Bilgi presents pictures dedicated to current topics of the last year: the devastating consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, the explosion in Beirut, the Superbike World Championship, etc.
As part of the exhibition, on December 3, a meeting will take place with the famous photojournalist of the Getty Images agency, Adam Pritti, who took third place in the Tekil Spor nomination at Istanbul Photo Awards-2021.
About 15 thousand photographs were sent to the jury of the last competition, which were evaluated in the following categories: “News”, “Sport”, “Portrait” and “Society”.
The works of 14 photographers from 12 countries were announced as winners of the competition.
The competition was sponsored by Turkish Airlines and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency.
