How to get from Istanbul to Cappadocia?

It’s very far. The most comfortable option is to rent a car and drive it.

You can take a tour (so as not to run around with tickets and not to feel sick at stops).

Alternative options that allow you to save a lot of money are to take a regular bus, which is used by local residents. Getting to the bus station is easy – ask a local, just say “Marhaba, Otogar nerede?” and he will show you the direction.

The cost of a one-way ticket is approximately 100 lira. Departure times from Istanbul are 20:30 and 20:45, the journey takes 12 hours. Return departure from Nevsehir to Istanbul at 20:00. In the summer, given the increase in tourist flow, the time of departures and the price may differ.

You can buy a ticket online at http://nevsehirlilerseyahat.com.tr/. Go to the site and hover your mouse over the top tab with the inscription online işlemler and select the inscription Bilet satın al. Further, in the window that appears on the right, you can already select the English interface language and start the process of searching for tickets.
