Istanbul airports start receiving and dispatching flights after hurricane

Istanbul airports have started receiving and sending flights suspended due to hurricane winds, told a representative of Turkish Airlines.

“Our planes are returning to normal operation at both airports in Istanbul. According to the data we received from meteorologists, the hurricane is already beginning to lose its strength,” the press service said.

Earlier it was reported about six deaths in Istanbul and two provinces in northwestern Turkey, as well as 46 injured by debris from roofs destroyed by strong winds, the speed of which in some places reached 130 kilometers per hour.
