The US National Aeronautics and Space Agency posted an astonishing video of a lake in Turkish province Muğla. The photo was posted on April 22, the Earth Day.

Wonderful photo, full of magic of nature became very popular and risen the interest to the whole Turkey and such small places like Akyaka village of Muğla province, where photo had been taken.
After the post of NASA, number of daily visitors to the village increased. Ula Mayor Özer Türkler said, that “NASA’s post mounted people’s interest toward Akyaka”.

Akyaka village, located in the Gulf of Gökova, has a winter population of 1,500 inhabitants, whose number doubles in the summers. “The water of Kadın Amağı Stream is cold and drinkable. You can see the gray mullets and snakefish with the naked eye,” the mayor noted.
