The air temperature in the area of ​​the center of ski tourism dropped to 11 degrees below zero.

In an interview with the Anadolu agency, the manager of one of the tourist facilities in Uludag, Ekrem Adjar, said that residents and guests of Bursa are happy with the snowy weather. “We have been waiting for snow for a long time. It’s good if the snow continues until the evening. Similar snowfall is expected over the weekend. We will be glad if the height of the snow cover reaches 15-20 centimeters. The ski season will start soon, ”he said.

Adjar noted that last season due to the pandemic did not live up to expectations and expressed hope that this year’s expectations will be met.

Uludag ski resorts are open on average four months a year.

The resort has taken all the necessary sanitary and hygienic measures to prevent the spread of a new type of coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

Uludag has 20 ski slopes ranging from 300 to 1980 meters.

The resort is equipped with 11 drag lifts, 6 chair lifts and one cabin chair lift.

Along with skiing, tourists can go snowboarding, ice skating, and drive snowmobiles.

The snowy landscapes of Uludag also attract the attention of filmmakers.

Uludag is located at the highest point of the Marmara region – at an altitude of 2543 meters
