Youth camps will be organized on the territory of the Kandilli ski center in the province of Erzurum in the north-east of Turkey, which will also be active in the summer months.

This is stated in the message of the regional Department of Youth and Sports of the province of Erzurum.

Work on the creation of a youth camp is carried out with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Turkey in order to use the potential of the ski center in a year-round mode.

Berdal Ozturk, the head of the regional Department of Youth and Sports Affairs, said that in winter, skiing and biathlon can be practiced on the territory of the ski center, and youth camps can be organized in summer.

“This object will bring benefits both in winter and in summer. The authorities of the region are planning to improve it. Thanks to the lighting system, we will create a different atmosphere here. With the transformations planned here, in particular with the creation of a youth camp, we will change the face of the Kandilli ski center. We plan to equip a camp for 100 beds, as well as a canteen for 100 people. We will create an open basketball and volleyball court, a paintball field, a tennis court and an adventure park here,” Ozturk said.
